Article 1. Purpose and scope
These Terms set the conditions for using ST Studio (the “Site”), operated by ST Studio (the “Operator”), and the responsibilities of the Operator and users.
Permission and restrictions for each program are governed by the App Terms of Use on its program page and the original text included with that version’s distribution. Each third-party component is governed by its own license. These Terms do not add to or change program-specific conditions.
Article 2. Definitions
- Site: The website that provides program introductions, official download routes, and guides.
- Program release: Executables, original license files, third-party notices, corresponding source, and checksums grouped under the same version.
- Creator: The person or organization identified as the creator or rights holder on a program page or in LICENSE.txt. The Creator may also be the Operator.
- User: A person or organization that visits the Site or reviews or downloads materials provided through it.
Article 3. Application, acceptance, and changes
These Terms apply to visits to the Site and use of its download routes from the time they are posted and made available for review. Users must review them before using the Site. If you do not agree, stop using the Site and its download routes.
Installing or using a program is governed by that program’s App Terms of Use and the original text included with the release. Review them before installation or use. Continuing to install or use the program constitutes acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the program. Changes to these common Site Terms alone do not alter conditions for an already distributed program.
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Merely using the Site or a program is not treated as consent to processing that requires separate consent or to personalized advertising. A separate choice will be provided when required.
The Operator may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Ordinary changes will be announced at least seven days before they take effect. Changes unfavorable to users or materially affecting rights and obligations will be announced at least 30 days in advance, together with the effective date, reason, and principal changes.
When advance notice is impractical because of a legal requirement, urgent security response, or correction of a clear error, a change may take effect to the necessary extent and be announced without delay afterward. Rights acquired before the change will not be restricted retroactively without a legitimate reason.
Article 4. Free services
Without requiring registration or sign-in, the Operator provides program introductions, official download guidance, guides, versions, supported environments, and distribution status free of charge. The Site does not sell programs or operate payment or subscription features.
A service or program distribution may be changed or suspended for security, maintenance, failure response, operational, or technical needs. A foreseeable material change will be announced where practical, but updates, technical support, or permanent availability of free programs are not guaranteed.
Article 5. Prohibited conduct
Users must not:
- Access the Site or a connected system without authorization or bypass a security feature.
- Generate automated requests, abnormal traffic, or malware that interferes with operation of the service.
- Alter an official download address or file information in a way that causes users to mistake it for another file.
- Infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of the Operator or a third party.
- Use the Site for a purpose contrary to law or public order.
Article 6. Site and program materials
Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the Site’s documents, design, and Operator-created materials belong to the Operator or the lawful rights holder.
Rights and conditions for program code and assets and for third-party components included in a program are stated in each program’s App Terms of Use, original release files, and third-party notices. A Site introduction or summary does not grant a right absent from the original text or restrict a right granted there.
Article 7. User responsibilities
- Check the distribution status, supported operating system, input limits, and guide on the official Site.
- Back up important files and settings to separate storage or a service before installation or use.
- Review program output yourself before using or distributing it.
- Secure any copyright and permission required for files you input or process.
- Keep your device, operating system, and security environment up to date.
Article 8. Warranties and precautions
Programs are provided “as is” under their App Terms of Use and original release terms. For important work, keep the original and a separate backup and test sufficiently in your environment. If you cannot accept these conditions and risks, do not download, install, or use the program.
Versions, file names, distribution status, and checksums shown on the Site are managed from actual release materials. Verify the displayed version and file information before downloading.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator and Creator are not responsible for loss caused by matters not attributable to them, including unsupported environments, user misuse or failure to follow guidance, unauthorized changes, third-party programs or devices, or network problems. Cause and responsibility are determined under the program-specific terms and applicable law.
This Article does not add to or change program-specific terms and does not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Operator or Creator, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Article 9. Advertising and external services
The Site may display Google AdSense ads or links to external websites. Ads are separated from content so they do not obscure download buttons or essential guides or become a condition of access. The Privacy Policy explains advertising cookies, personal-information processing, and available choices.
Products and services from an external provider are governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. The Operator does not guarantee the content or transaction outcome of an external service unless it expressly states that it provides or guarantees that service.
AdSense ads are currently inactive. The Site loads only the Google connection code required for site ownership verification and review, and does not display ad units.
Article 10. Free distribution principle
Programs, download guidance, and guides on the Site are free and do not require a purchase or payment. Site operating costs may be supported by ads separated from content, but viewing or clicking an ad or consenting to personalized advertising is never a condition for downloading or reading a guide.
Regardless of free availability, the specific scope of copying, distribution, and modification is governed by each program’s App Terms of Use and original release text.
Article 11. Restrictions on use
If a user violates these Terms or applicable law, the Operator may restrict access to the Site or use of download routes in proportion to the violation and risk. Unless an urgent security or rights-infringement reason prevents it, the Operator will explain the reason and an objection method where practical.
Article 12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Operator and user will first attempt to resolve a dispute in good faith. If it remains unresolved, the procedures and competent court provided by applicable law will apply.
