1. Scope

This license applies only to the application code and assets created independently for Smart GIF Optimizer. Third-party components, including FFmpeg, Gifsicle, Electron, Chromium, React, ReactDOM, Lucide, libvpx, and zlib, are governed separately by their respective licenses.

2. License grant

Smart GIF Optimizer is provided free of charge. The creator grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use a lawfully obtained copy of Smart GIF Optimizer for personal or business purposes.

3. Restrictions

Except where expressly permitted by applicable law or authorized in advance in writing by the creator, you may not modify the proprietary portions of the application, create derivative works from them, redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense them. For third-party open-source components, this clause does not limit any rights granted by the applicable open-source licenses.

4. Third-party rights

Copyright and license rights in third-party components remain with their respective owners. Third-party notices and original license texts are available in the program's Docs/Licenses folder and in the source package provided with the distribution. If this application license conflicts with a third-party license, the third-party license controls for that component.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the program is provided ‘as is,’ without any express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
