Smart GIF Optimizer 0.1.0 is now available. This free Windows app lets you choose an upload platform or target file size and optimize a GIF without repeatedly tuning every setting yourself.
August 10, 2026 update: The official Microsoft Store listing is now the recommended route for typical users. Existing GitHub Setup and Portable downloads and all release materials remain available.

All three options are available on the Smart GIF Optimizer program page. The Microsoft Store option opens the official Store listing. The direct-download area also provides each file's SHA-256 value and a link to its public VirusTotal report.
Before launching a direct download for the first time
The GitHub Setup and Portable executables for version 0.1.0 are not code-signed. Windows may therefore display Windows protected your PC and say that the publisher cannot be verified. Do not bypass that message automatically. Check these items first:
- If you prefer not to open an unsigned executable directly, consider the Microsoft Store version first.
- If you choose a direct download, confirm that the file came from the GitHub Release linked by the ST Studio program page.
- Confirm that the downloaded file name and SHA-256 match the values on the page.
- Do not run a file obtained from an unverified third-party site.
